Wesley Stasyszen
Juneau, AK
I’m Wesley Alejandro Stasyszen, a graphic designer and upcycled fashion artist born in Juneau, Alaska. The landscapes, culture, and natural beauty of my hometown have deeply influenced my creative approach, shaping the way I see and design the world around me.
Originally, I came to SNU to play basketball, but I quickly discovered a new passion—graphic design. What started as an interest soon turned into a love for creating, storytelling, and bringing ideas to life through design and content creation. My skills center around photo manipulation, branding, and upcycled fashion, which led me to start my own small business crafting one-of-a-kind clothing pieces from thrifted materials. I believe that creativity should be accessible and that design has the power to help others express themselves in ways words sometimes cannot.
Beyond design, I find inspiration in the hands-on process of making—thrifting, sewing, and experimenting with textures and materials. When I’m not creating, you’ll likely find me hiking, fishing, or searching for the next great vintage find. Whether through art, fashion, or digital media, my goal is to build a career that encourages individuality and pushes creative boundaries.
