Alannah Doherty

I’m a graphic designer from Yukon graduating with a bachelor’s degree, with a focus on illustration and typeface design—an area where I was honored to receive an Addy Award. My passion for typography was sparked during internships at two letterpress studios, where I loved working with different typefaces and inks. That hands-on experience continues to influence my digital designs, where I strive to incorporate the tactile qualities of print into my work.

I’ve decided to pursue a career in corporate design because I believe compelling, thoughtfully designed visuals are essential for brands. Packaging and branding are often the first impressions consumers have of a product, and I’m passionate about using type and illustration to make those impressions unforgettable.

When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me cooking and baking for my husband, family, and friends in the house at mealtimes.
