Antoinette Slaughter

Hi, I’m Ann—short for Antoinette Slaughter—a graphic designer and aspiring muralist from Oklahoma City. Growing up with two sisters, two brothers, and a passion for creativity, I was surrounded by inspiration from an early age. Although my journey began in fine art, I’ve since embraced the world of digital design, blending my artistic skills with the versatility of graphic design.

Illustration is at the heart of my work, but I’m always exploring new ways to bring ideas to life, including animation. I thrive on projects that challenge my creativity and push me to experiment with new techniques and styles.

During my internship with the creative team at Southern Nazarene University, I gained invaluable experience in graphic design, learning how to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of design in a professional setting and fueled my passion for the field even more.

Looking ahead, my ultimate dream is to merge my love for design and painting as a muralist—bringing bold, expressive art to public spaces. When I’m not immersed in design projects, you’ll likely find me cuddling with my three cats and my husband—my constant companions during those late-night creative sessions.
