Katherine Baker

Hi, I’m Katherine Baker! I am an artist and graphic designer from Dallas, Texas. As a traditionally trained artist, my strengths lie in shape, color, and emotion. I have an intimate knowledge of physical arts, including needlepoint, painting, ceramics, and cardboard sculpting. Since discovering graphic design, I have also come to appreciate the joys of typography, emotional storytelling, and visual communication. My skills extend to vector and raster art, animation, and everything in between. I am always eager to find new ways to apply my expertise or learn something new.

My journey into graphic design began when I realized how well it fit me. It is organized yet creative, solves problems, and tells a story. Today, I am a graphic designer, and living the dream.

In my spare time, I work on various projects to keep the creative juices flowing. Some of which include a quilt, a cross-stitch poem with a lighthouse, more paintings of horses, goofy animations, and digital painting. I also play board games, walk my little white dog, and beat my little sister at Mario Kart.
